Steel Office and Supply Co., a private Utah corporation, has filed for bankruptcy in U.S. District Court. Owner and general manager Verne S. Peck closed the doors of the 53 year old business two weeks ago leaving the business with inventory assets of approximately $14,000 and debts of $16,000. All The case will be heard by bankruptcy judge Bruce Jenkins. Peck will be represented by Salt Lake attorney Roger Segal, who filed the petition for voluntary bankruptcy. Smith Spencer Nangle People making news Bonnie L. Nangle has been named director of research at Intermark. Formerly research analyst with King, Neff & Associates, she will supervise marketing and media research projects. Nangle holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Gardiner Advertising four newly has filled Agency created management and creative positions. Frederick J. Spencer, formerly production manager at Nolan, Keelor & Stites Advertising Agency in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been named production manager. Craig Mecham, now director of public relations and publicity, was formerly campaign press secretary for the Marriott for Congress Committee. Formerly with Young Sign Company, Stephen M. has joined Ehninger Gardiner as graphic designer. And Sherri Sorenson has been appointed assistant media buyer. She was formerly assistant production manager at Ross Jumey vertising. Beverly Smith has been named manager of Tracy-ColliBank main office. She w'as formerly assistant ns manager of the Holladay branch, and is a veteran of the banking business. 23-ye- ar Robert L. Parker is celebrating the 19th birthday of Parker Equipment Co. Starting business in 1958, the firm now sells over $1 million of construction equipment annually, Parker said, and employs nine people. Family Health Program has appointed a new general manager. Jack Massimino, formerly assistant to the president in Long Beach, California, replaced Hal Johnson, who was promoted to vice president.
