Mrs. Eliza Anderson of Rupert, Ida-10, Ida-10, has spent the last two months vith her father William Prestwich vho is very ill. She has returned ;o her home. Thursday afternoon the Sorosis Club net at their rooms for their regular meeting. Mrs. Cleon Anderson and Mrs. Marvin Anderson were the hostesses. host-esses. A reading on home decorating was given by Mrs. Leo Morley. Sayings of great men were given by Mrs. Ray Anderson. Refreshments were served to the following members: Mrs. Lewis Black-ham, Black-ham, Mrs. Mert Draper, Mrs. Morgan Lamb, Mrs. Lloyd Blackham, Mrs. E. D. Anderson, Mrs. E. W. Stucki, Mrs. N. P. Sorensen, Mrs. Elmo Irons, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. Russel Bailey, Mrs. Leo Morley, Mrs. Ray Anderson, Mrs. James Larsen and Mrs. Ellis Draper. Dra-per. Mrs. Mary Ann Draper of Spanish Fork is here to visit her brother, Wm. Prestwich. Thursday evening at the Kozy Theatre in connection with pictures, the Lincoln school gave a program. Three hundred pupils took part. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Mo-Jart Mo-Jart Larsen who has been so very sick is slowly improving. The Stake M. Men and Gleaner Girls banquet was a big success last Saturday evening. Plates were laid for two hundred and fifty guests. A musical program was rendered during the banquet. Stake President S. M. Nielsen was toast master. After Af-ter the program and banquet held in the East Ward chapel all enjoyed dancing at Paradise Gardens. Public gatherings have been suspended sus-pended because of an epidemic of scarlet fever. |
