Show FAIR VIEW. A baby boy was welcomed at the home of Homer Sidwell, February 4. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Anderson are rejoicing over the arrival of twin girls at their home January 31. This is the fourth pair of twins born in the family of James Anderson Sr. in the past ten years. Fred Olsen, who spent the past month here, returned to Provo Sat-urday Sat-urday :Miss Belva Cox went to Coalville this week to nurse her sister, Mrs. Parley Powell and children, who are ill with the influenza. Lewis Larsen came from Tremon-ton Tremon-ton and is visiting relatives and friends in Fairview. iMiss Nivien Christenson came from Salt Lake City, where she is attending school, Wednesday for a short vacation. Winston Mower and Miss Thelma Larsen were married at Manti Friday Fri-day January 30. They are among our popular young people. A reception recep-tion was given in their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Larsen for the immediate relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Mower entertained en-tertained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Winston Mower Monday February 2nd A delicious dinner was served and a pleasant afternoon spent by relatives of the newlyweds. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christenson enterained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Sanderson February 1st. Supper was served to the immediate, relatives. Dinner ws served ! to more than a dozen guests. j The two year old baby girl of Mr. .and Mrs. Frank Osen,who died of influenza, was brougrt to Fairview; and buried Tuesday. j Mrs. Melvin Petertoii is reported very ill at her home this week j Clyde Cheney and Mr. and Mrs. Floren Peterson have influenza. As no more cases of influenza have appeared the public school was opened open-ed Tuesday. The relief society celebration, f which was to have been February :7th has been postponed indefinitely. |
