Show FAIRVIEW. A baby girl was welcomed at tbe home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Anderson Ander-son January 28h. j Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Peterson are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy at their home January 18th. j Roscoe Cox spent part of the week visiting friends and relatives at . Provo. He will leave for a mission for the L. D. S. Church in the Hawaiian Hawai-ian Islands next week. A dancing party was to have been given at the Pavaliou Friday evening 'in honor of Roscoe Cox. On January 19th a surprise party was given at the home of Mrs. Lewis 'Peterson in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Golden Sanderson. The evening .was spent in merry games, music, etc. I'and a chicken supper was served at j: midnight to about twenty, guests. j Mrs. E. A. Day, who spent the 'ipast two weeks at Provo, returned j'home this week. i Marion Stewart of Tremonton is 'spending the week in Fairview. The Ladies Literary club met at the home of Mrs. A. U. Miner Jan. i 2 8 tli. The life and assasination of President William McKinley was I given by Miss Elsie Sorenson. Several business matters were discussed. dis-cussed. During the social hour they were entertained with music. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. The annual Relief Society celebration cele-bration will be given Febuary 7th. A good program is being prepared and an excellent time is expected. All married people are invited. The Influenza has again appeared in Fairview Mrs. Thomas Jarimino, who lately came from Colorado, has it. The schools and all public gatherings gath-erings has been stopped. Seven cases of Influenza are reported re-ported in the family of J. W. Mower at Oak Creek. Word was received this morning of the death of the two year old babe of Frank Olsen at Clear Creek. The child will be burried at Schofleld. Mr. Olsen was formerly a resident here. |
