Show Spanish Influenza breaks out in north sanpete valley TWELVE CASES REPORTED II K PLEASANT "Spring City Has Influenza In Epidemic Form; Forty Cases Reported. Fountain Green Closed Schools. Moroni Hit. Spanish Influenza made its appearance appear-ance in Sanpete county early in the 1 week when thirty-five cases Droke I out in Sprinig City. None of these are expected to become fatal. Three, 'however, are very sick at the present time. So far it has been confined ! to only ten families. On Thursday morning ten cases I were reported at Mount Pleasant 'and now there are twelve. None of these are expected to contract pneumonia, but three are very ill. It is hoped by health ollicials that great care will be taken by every person so that death will not claim anyone this year. Fairview and Milburn also have a few cases and the City has taken precautions to avoid the spread of the disease. Moroni is also hit by the Flu and Fountain Green has closed schools for the present. Nephi has closed their schools and other places in Juab County are taking great pains to avoid a repetition of the same experiences of last year. Wales and Chester have a few cases. The school wagons between the towns in this district have been discontinued dis-continued for the present. |
