Cavalry at Douglas, Arizona, is reported to be seriously ill. He was the first boy from Spring City to leave for service with the United Staites Army. Miss Jean Baxter departed for Clear Creek Saturday. George Rasmussan. departed for Salt Lake City Wednesday. He has accepted a position with the Deseret Live Stock Company. Fred Mickle departed for Salt , Lake City Tuesday. H. R. Thomas of Wales made a j business trip to Lalt Lake City this week. ' Mrs. Reid Beck, wife of Reid Beck ' of this city, died at her home In Draper of Spanish Influenza Monday night. Mr. Beck, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon T. Beck of this city, has been living in Draper where he is employed as an instructor in the Draper schools. The remains were taken to Provo for interment. , |
