Show PAIRVIEW Miss Coida Carlston went to Storrs Wednesday to visit with her cousin, Miss Irene Cruser. Leland Nordstrom, son of Martin Nordstrom, returned home last week from the officer's training camp at the Presidia, California. This young man, though only 16 years old, enlisted en-listed in Uncle Sam's service last July. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rigby, who spent the past summer in Idaho, returned to Fairview last week. Mrs. E. L. Terry of Garfield came to Fairview to attend the funeral of her nephews, Percy and Oscar Tucker. Tuck-er. Charles Tucker came from Idaho last week to attend the funeral of the Tucker boys. Mrs. Ben Smith and ohildren went to Kennelworth Tuesday. Her son, Norman Smith, who was employed at that place, has lately had Influenza. Cyrus Stewart came 'from Clear Creek Wednesday with the body of his little five year old boy, who died of Influenza this week. Interment was made in the Fairview cemetery. Mrs. Cyrus Stewart was formerly Miss Bessie Hughes of Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Hilden Tucker came home on a furlough from Camp Kearny last week on account of the death of his brothers, Oscar and Percy Tucker. He will return do his military training train-ing this week. Mrs. Arthur Stewart of Fairview has just received word of the safe arrival of her husband overseas. |
