Show THE WAR IS NOT ENDED To the people of Mount Pleasant: The war against the deadly Hun is over; but the war against the more deadly epidemic of Spanish Influenza In-fluenza is not yet won. Within numerous nu-merous sections of the state, with which we are in almost constant communication, people are stricken and many are dying daily with the terrible disease. Our safety and our lives are still in jeopardy. It is only by strict vigilance, active cooperation, co-operation, and obedience to rules and regulations, that calamity may be avoided. THE SCHOOLS WILL NOT BE OPENED, NOR PUBLIC GATHERINGS GATHER-INGS ALLOWED, AS LONG AS PRESENT DANGEROUS CONDITIONS CONDI-TIONS PREVAIL. NO CROWDS WILL BE ALLOWED ALLOW-ED TO CONGREGATE ON THE I STREETS, OR IN STORES, OR ELSEWHERE. ONE CUSTOMER TO A CLERK IS THE LIMIT OF PERSONS ALLOWED AL-LOWED IN STORES. PEOPLE ARE URGED TO DO THEIR SHOPPING IN THE MORNING, MORN-ING, AND TO DO THEIR CHRISTMAS CHRIST-MAS BUYING EARLY, SO AS TO AVOID CROWDING. The Health Board and Public .Authorities are working for your benefit, and if their efforts are to succeed, YOU MUST HELP. The Marshal an(d his assistants will enforce the rules, as far as they .can, but THE PUBLIC MUST COOPERATE. CO-OPERATE. All persons coming from outside the city will be Biibject to Inspection by' Health Officers, and if at all sus-pisious sus-pisious of carrying contagion, will be detained in quarentine. Vaccination is urgently recommended. recom-mended. By special arrangement, i any person who will apply at the ' Winters Hospital on any day between be-tween noon and two o'clock p. m., may be vaccinated for a fee of $1.50.
