Show MORONI Funeral services for Mrs. James Draper, age 60 years, wife of James , Draper of this city, were held Friday April 18 at the Tabernacle. The ward choir furnished very beautiful hymns. The opening prayer was offered of-fered by Nathan Faux, Jr. T. J. Mor-ley Mor-ley and Bp. Bradley were the speakers. speak-ers. They all spoke of the perfect life she had lived and many consoling words of sympathy were expressed to the family. Mrs. Lawrence Lar- f son rendered a beautiful' solo and a Ladies Trio was furnished by Miss Edna Hardy, Miss Melba Christ-enson Christ-enson and Mrs. Austin Guerrell. Mrs. Draper died Tuesday after an illness of about two months, front complications following influenza. She was the mother, of twelve children, child-ren, 11 of whom survive her, also her husband,, James Draper and an aged mother, Mrs. Abiah Morley. Those who came here from out of town to 'attend the funeral were: Mr. -and. Mrs. Jack Shaffer, Mrs. Lucy Prestwitch, and Mrs. Pherel Draper, all of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Shoemaker' of Manti, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Draper and children and Mrs. Ole Hansen of Mt. Pleasant. Many beautiful flowers were given by the many friends and relatives of the family. |
