Show ' FOUNTAIN GREEN j By Special Correspondence Marriage Announced Of interest to her many friends is the marriage of Miss Hanna Ivory daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Ivory of Fountain Green to Mr Carl Wetmore, son of Mr Carl Wetmore of Seattle, Washington. Wash-ington. The marriage ceremonv took place at the Army Air Base in bait Lake City, and was per-lorme per-lorme by the Air Base Chaplain The chapel was banked with flowers, and 32 candles lighted the altar. After the ceremony the wedding wed-ding group went to the Empire Room at the Hotel Utah where a turkey dinner was enjoyed. Those attending the ceremony were: Mrs. Lois Ivory Hansen, sister of the bride who attended as bridesmaid and Colonel Montgomery Mont-gomery acting as best man, Mr. and Mrs. L. Royal Ivory, parents of the bride, Mr. Carl Wetmore, father of the groom, Mr. and Mrs Charles N. Hansen, Colonel and Mrs. Montgomery of the ISth Replacement Re-placement Wing in Salt Lake, Warrant Officer Thompson and wife, and Corporal Redmiles, also al-so of the 18th Replacement Wing. Mrs. Wetmore was Deputy City Clerk of Salt Lake City, before her marriage. She is a graduate of Moroni High School and attended at-tended the Brignam Young University, Uni-versity, where she played in the B. Y. U. Symphony Orchestra. She was also affiliated with many other music groups. Mr. Wetmore is Chief Warrant Officer of the 18th Replacement Wing in Salt Lake City. He attended at-tended Business College at Seat tle, Washington prior to entering the army. Second Lieutenant Carl Seeley is spending his furlough with his father, Mr. Lyman Seeley. Lieutenant Seeley is Flying Instructor In-structor of Twin Engine School at Columbus, Mississippi. Mr. andMrs. James Johnson spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Stand-ardville, Stand-ardville, Utah. Harry M. Hansen, Radio Operator Opera-tor of the U. S. Naval Air Corps of Jacksonville, Florida is visiting visit-ing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hansen. Lena Livingston spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving day with her daughter, Mrs. Ross Livingston at Moroni. Mrs. C. S. Augason entertained on her birthday anniversary for her club members, sisters and neighbors. A very enjoyable afternoon af-ternoon was spent. Hot dinner was served to sixteen guests. The table was beautifully decorated deco-rated with yellow chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums as the center piece. Mr., and Mrs. Everett Johnson are visiting for a short while in Fountain Green. Mr. Johnson will enter the U. S. avy on Dec. 6th. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Carlson of Salt Lake City have been visiting vis-iting with Mr. Carlson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson. Mr. Paul Seeley, son of Mr. Ly- iiian oeeiey nas ueen promoted to First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army Air Corps. Lieut. Seeley is stationed at Rapids City, South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Welcome Chapman Chap-man and daughter, Carol spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City with Corporal M. V. Chapman. Mrs. Caroline Johnson and Mrs. Lena Livingston were honored hon-ored guests one afternoon last week of some of their friends and neighbors. The occasion being be-ing their 6th birthdays. A pleasant pleas-ant afternoon was spent, after which a chicken dinner was served by Mrs. Johnson's daughter, daugh-ter, Edna Christiansen. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bigler and Mr. and Mrs. Antone Frandsen spent Thanksgiving day at Mt. Pleasant. They were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ivory were Salt Lake business visitors Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Augason mo- luieu 10 apanisn rom wnn ineir daughter Thursday, Nov. 25th where they were entertained by their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Larsen at a very elaborate elab-orate Thanksgiving dinner. Miss Glora Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Jensen was chosen as queen and represented repre-sented Fountain Green Y. L. M. I. A. at the Gold and Green Ball held at Moroni. Her attendants were Miss Eloise Crowther. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Osmond Os-mond Crowther and Miss Doris Green, duaghter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Green. Mr. LaVor Thatcher and family fami-ly spent Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. Homer Olsen of Monroe. Mon-roe. Roma and Mary Peel spent the week end in Mt. Pleasant visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. John II. Peel. Mrs. Ruth Rigby entertained the Liberty Club at her birthday party Sunday Nov. 28th. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Anderson Ander-son and family spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving day at the home of Prof, and Mrs. LeRoy J. Robertson of Provo. Mrs. Caroline Llewellyn received re-ceived word that her son, Reese has beep, inducted into the Army and will leavo on Dec. 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Coombs and family spent the week end in Salt Lake City with Mrs. i Coombs' parents.
