Good attention was taken to direction, costuming and Some people still believe that there isnt anything to do in Sanpete for entertainment. Ive been feeling like there is too much to do. Ive been having to make hard decisions left and right. This past weekend, I whittled the options down and went to the Sanpete Community Theaters dinner theater on Friday night. SCT has been doing a murder mystery dinner theater production for three years running. Id say that a tradition has been started. The audiences show that this type of theater has great support. The first year only one performance was done. Last year there were two. this year there were three shows done. The dinner was delicious. Compliments to DoNell Black-hawho put on his chefs hat for the second year in a row. Its nice to get out and have a meal off of fine china and quality flatware once in a while. The play itself was good fun. The players had worked m it.- County may move landfill site EPHRAIM-- - Due to stag- ing. Its great to live in Sanpete where people are willing to work hard at volunteering their time and talents for the community. I have been in Denver and Seattle in the past few months. I saw dinner theaters advertising there for three times the price of what Sanpeters paid last weekend. Saturday night it was the Ducks Unlimited Banquet in Manti. This; was attended by about 300 people interested in the preservation of wetlands for waterfowl. There was a lot of money raised and a nice prime rib meal served. Sanpete has been a direct recipient of an area preserved by this organizationss efforts. (West of Manti) This is another example of Sanpete people volunteering time and hard work for a worthy cause. And in the process, people like you and I get a chance to have a night out and not have to sit home and say, "Theres nothing to do in Sanpete.
