Pleasant in September MT. PLEASAN- T- The Sanpete County Local Interagency Council (L.I.C.) is planning to open a family resource center in September in the North Sanpete School Districts old white home economics building in Mt. Pleasant. It is anticipated that the center will be open two to three days a week for about four hours each day. Times and days will be announced prior to the opening. Designed to be a place where parents can take their young children to play with educational toys and games at no cost and interact with other children, it will also give parents a place to play with their children and visit with other parents. The L.I.C. recognizes that parents with small children often feel isolated, especially in the winter months. The center is designed to be a fun and safe environment for children to frolic and give parents a place to "talk adult."
