Show August 10, 1994 - The Pyramid - Page Three Alissa Roberts to wed Cameron Broadbent in Manti LDS Temple Mr. and Mrs. Dennis ' Roberts announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter,' Alissa, to Cameron Broadbent, son of Dr. and Mrs. Larry Broadbent of Mapleton, on Friday, Aug. 12, 1994, in the Manti LDS Tem-plWALES-- - AMP . Ftn Green woman celebrates 92nd birthday on August 13 e. , They will be honored that evening with a reception at the Wales LDS Ward building from 7 to 9 oclock. An open house will be held in Mapleton on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the city park v from 7 to 9 oclock. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and Snow College, and is majoring in accounting at BYU. The bridegroom graduated from Springville High School and is majoring in food science and nutrition at BYU. He served an LDS mission in Osaka, Japan. The couple will make their home in Mapleton. TAYLORSVILL- E- Selma Arvilla Petersen Anderson, formerly of Fountain Green, will d celebrate her birthday on Thursday, Aug. 25. She was born in 1902, in Ephraim, to Orval Erastus and Sarah Geneva Anderson. Her father was called on an LDS mission to South Africa when she was three years old. She attended Ephraim public schools and graduated from Snow College where she taught the religion class for one year. She married E. Wilford Anderson on July 21, 1926, in the MAnti LDS Temple. For many years, she assisted him in cleaning the meeting house when he was the Fountain Green LDS Ward custodian. He died July 17, 1944, and was buried on their eighteenth wedding anniversary. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da- y Saints, she taught in the Primary and Sunday School orga- - nizations, was a visiting teacher and was active in temple work. She was a member of the ward choirs in the Ephraim North and West LDS Wards, as well as the Fountain Green Ward. She sang with the Singing Mothers for many years. She also sang with the Sanpete Centennial Chorus in the Salt Lake Tabernacle in 1947. An accomplished seamstress, she has made many quilt tops and crocheted. She has traveled extensively throughout her life. She has six children: V. Dale Anderson, Ruel E. Anderson, Anna LuDeen Briggs, Sarah Janell Smith, Evan Wilford Anderson and Helen Arvilla Bray; 29 grandchildren, 38 ninety-secon- Alissa Roberts and Cameron Broadbent Teresa Stewart and David Johnson wed in summer ceremony IONE, CA-- - Louis and Christene Stewart are pleased to announce the recent marriage of their daughter, Teresa, to David Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Johnson of Fountain Green, on Saturday, July 30, 1994. Her husband, Charles McKay, joined her at the conclusion of school FAIRVIE- W- Elna KcKay, branch manager of Far West Bank in Fairview, graduated from the Northwest Intermediate Banking School on Friday, July 29. Ceremonies took place on University of Portland campus where the school is held for two weeks each summer. This was the 19th annual session of the school. Graduation signified completion of individual baking research projects followed by an intensive residency session.
