Miss Karen Ann Green is wed Evans in temple Announcement is made of the marriage of Annette Brady, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verl (Norma) Brady to Robert Kent Evans. The marriage was solemnized on August 4, in the Provo Temple. The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. Phyllis Jones of Fair-viewho also attended the marriage and the reception. The couple were honored with a wedding breakfast at the Four Winds Cafe in Provo and a lovely garden reception was held that evening to Brent in Sandy. Bertha Zetell was born in Fountain Green, a daughter of William and Rena Crowther. The Coulsons lived in Ftn. Green until May 11, 1935 when they purchased a farm in Idaho. They have lived on their farm near Hazelton for 37 years, with the exception of the winters they have spent in Mesa, Arizona. Many Ftn. A wedding reception that evening honored the young married couple given by the parents of the bride, at the Alumni House, Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah. For her wedding the lovely young bride wore a floor length wedding gown of shuntung. The high waist bodice, high neckline, full sleeves and wide cuffs were trimmed with bridal lace. The gown and train were edged with three rows of ruffled bridal lace. The beautiful mantilla veil of illusion was edged with bridal lace and topped with lace flowers. The brides bouquet was of yellow roses, baby breath and centered with a large black orchid. Elsie Lynn Heninger was Maid of Honor and sisters Carla, Christine, Connie, Cynthia and Caryn Osborne and sisters of the groom, Marilyn, Janice, Julie and Charlene Thompson as her attendants. They wore yellow floor length dresses of polyester knit with black and white trim. Their flowers were yellow roses, white mums and Camillas. The mothers of the bride and bridegroom wore floor length dresses of yellow and green. Their corsages were yellow roses and white Camillas. The line included the parents and a brother of the groom, Mark Thompson. John Bennion served duties as Best Man. The ushers were Richard Bennion, Max Germaine, Dan Pace, Hal Loomis and Dave Le Suerer. At the guest register were Debbie Steed and Jayne Hibbert. In the gift room were Jan Smith, Paula Clavell, Susan Clavell and Suzanne Smit, Serving were cousins and a friend, Susan Osborne, Mary Ann Osborne, Shannon Smit and Denice Clavell. A brother of the groom and cousins carried the gifts. Brad Thompson, Lyle Osborne and Sam Osborne. The colors for the wedding were yellow, black and white. The beautiful wedding cake was made by Mrs. Bonnie Allred, relative of the bride. The lovely design was of tiered layers, yellow leaves, white roses, white cupids and unique topped design. Bridal showers prior the wedding were given by Betty Allred, JoAnn Allred, Bonnie Allred, June Schofield, Norma Hafen, Elsie Heninger, Arlene Clavell, Barbara Newbold and Muriel Thole. The bride is a graduate of Orem High School and attended BYU where she was in the Army Sponsor Corps. Mr. Thompson graduated from La Sierra High School in Sacramento, California and was in his senior year at BYU where he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha.
