The program of Memll ories got underway with Peterson calling the class to order and Charley Wright giving the opening prayer and blessing of the food. The beautiful red and white floral centerpieces, which were made by Ada Draper of Ogden, mother of Beth Peterson, were given away as door prizes to Clyde Cox, Fairview, and Leah Lister, Provo. Traveling the fartherest to attend were Mr. and Mrs. Don Vance of Littleton, Colorado. Rae Anderson Christensen had the most children (nine) and Jim Willcox, the youngest child, two months. The program in the auditorium brought back memories as Lynn Poulsen, master of ceremonies, recalled the junior and senior years. Ellis Amundsen Tuttle and daughter Erlynne sang a duet. Singing Mothers at World Fair Louise Johansen, president of Stake Relief Society, announces there will be a Mormon Singing Mothers group from the Eastern States presented in concerts at the New York Worlds Fair June 24 and 25 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The concert is free and anyone from this area attending the Worlds Fair at this time is invited to attend. North Sanpete one in the old school song and in several yells. The prom dress of Donna Sorensen Vance was modeled by her daughter, Cynthia Lee. Barbara Nielson, a daughter of Ruth Nielson; Erlynne Tuttle, daughter of Ellis A. Tuttle, and Kaye Poulsen, daughter of Lynn Poulsen, all juniors in high school this year, wore their prom dresses and sang the junior prom theme song of the Class of 39. Bonnie Johansen modeled the graduation dress of Louise B. Johnson. This class was the first to hold their exercises in the new South Ward Church and the last to graduate in formal dresses. Grant Johansen, who started his teaching career when this class was juniors and is the only faculty member still at the school, also talked. Principal C. L. Stewart served his last year as principal the year this class graduated, was guest of honor during the evening. Senior class president, Mont Rasmussen, paid him a special tribute, and Mr. Stewart made a brief response. Vernon Porter and Newell Shepherd sang two songs and the closing prayer was given by Boyd Seely. The yearbooks consisting of 40 family group pictures and reports of the last 25 years were handed out by the editors, Ruth Nielsen and Ellis Tuttle. Col- lege Alumni Association Banquet held Wednesday afternoon in the college cafeteria. The reunion included the classes of 1894, 1904, 1914, 1924, 1934, 1944, and 1954. Members of the class of 1964 were welcomed into the association and received complimentary tickets to the banquet. Cecil Kenner, a former faculty member, who is president of the East Cashe Stake of the LDS Church, was master of ceremonies. Attorney Arthur H. Nielsen, Salt Lake City, gave the toast to the reunion classes and Wilford Rees, of Smithfield, offered the invocation. In charge of the affair were Mrs. Claris Stevens, Mt. Pleasant, president; Mrs. ' Bonnie Nielson Ephraim, director; Mrs. Ruth Scow, Manti, director; Douglas Bjerregaard, Mayfield, director; Mark Christensen, of Moroni, holdover director; Dean Ross P. Findlay, executive director, and Mrs. Doris Larsen, Ephraim, secretary. Funeral held Thursday for Oral Beckstrom Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Mt. Ward Pleasant Second-Thir- d Chapel for Orald Gilbert Beckstrom, 65, 526 Gallacher Place, Salt Lake City, a former resident of Mt. Pleasant, who died June 1 at 10:50 a.m. after a lingering illness. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery directed by the Ursenbach Funeral Home. Mr. Becktrom was born May 9, 1899, in Mt. Pleasant, a son e of Gilbert C. and Maria Elea-nor- Monsen Beckstrom. He was educated in Mt. Pleasant schools and was a veteran of World War I serving with Company F of the 145th Bn. He was past commander of the H. M. Zabriskie Post No. 4, American Legion, also served as adjutant. He was a member of the LDS Church and was a high prieht. Funeral services and burial was in Beverly Hills. Mr. Ivory was bom in Fountain Green to George W. and Mercie Collard Ivory. He married Corinne Tabor, Twin Falls, Idaho. He was a musician and was well known in music circles throughout the county. He worked with Mable Borg Jenkins, Mt Pleasant and with Prof. LeRoy Robertson. He was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, was a member of LDS Church. He was a retired salesman. He enlisted in the Army in World War I just before the draft and went with the Army of Occupation into Germany afterward.
