Show MORONI Born To the wife of Hyrum Cloward, a baby girl, May 28th. Mrs. George Bradley, of Manti, is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Bird. Frank Draper and family have moved to Sunnyside, where Mr. Draper has employment. Saturday EvaOlsen returned home from Provo. She attended school there tne past year. Mr. and Mrs. 'Jabez Faux, Jr., went to Salt Lake Friday to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Faux's father, John Eliason. Friday the sisters of the Relief Society So-ciety met at the home of Carolina Lauritzen and $38 was given to her son, who is laboring for the L. D. S. Church in Denmark. John Scillatoe came over from Sunnyside last week and sold his home to Hyrum Christensen, Jr. The local phone is in running order. or-der. They began operation June 1. Mrs. Maria Jacoson went to Manti Tuesday to witness the marriage mar-riage of her son, Ernest, to Miss Michlesen, of Mayfield. The city council has been considering consider-ing where the State road shall go. Some wanted to have it go up Main street, while others were opposed to it. A meeting was called Monday night for all taxpayers to attend and it was decided to leave it where it has always been. |
