Show "pring City Edmunds Man Dies Monday; Was Seventy Edmunt James Edmunds, 70, died at his home Sunday morning morn-ing folloing an illness of some time. He was born in Wales, Utah, September 25, 1879, a son of L'd-munt L'd-munt and Mary James Edmunds. He was married to Anna Thompson, Thomp-son, September 4, 1912 at Eva.n-ston, Eva.n-ston, Wyoming. His occupation has been that of a farmer and sheep herder. For several years he was justice of the Peace a.t Spring City. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Edmunds of Spring City, and the following children: Allan, Sheldon Shel-don and Jack Edmunds, Mis. Earl Beck of Spring City; Fred Edmunds of Fountain Green, Mrs. Pearl White, Provo; Mrs. Ross Carter, Orem; Mrs. Don Nergin, Pleasant Grove. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Barent-scn, Barent-scn, Fountain Green. Funeral services weie conducted con-ducted Wednesday at 1 p. m. m the ward chapel with Bishop Reid H. Allred presiding. Impressive funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the ward chapel for Mrs. Trena Black, 86, who passed away Tuseday evening of causes Incident In-cident to age. Bishop Reld H. Allred presided ft the services. The invocation and benediction were by Royal Allred and Joseph H. Hansen. The ward choir conducted by E B. Terry sang the opening and closing numoers which were ''Sister, Thou Wast Mild and Lovely" and "Sometime We'll Understand"., The speakers James W. Blain and Bishop Allred spoke of the fine friendship they have en joyed with Mrs. Black as neighbors; neigh-bors; of the wonderful love she had for her fam'ly and friends. Her industry and ability as a homemaker were well spoken of. She extended a helping hand to those about her. Mrs. Athene Osborne, a neigh- ; bor, paid tribute to the deceased. . A vocal solo, "Face To Face': 1 waj sung by a grandson. Mars- den Allred. A vocal solo, "A M Perfect Dav" was sung by a grandson, Harold Arnoidson of Moroni. Pall bearers were grandsons Marsden Allred, Clinton Black, Willard Black, Morris Be -k. Stanley Crawforth and Luuis Eeid Beck. The beautiful floral offerings were cared for by Mrs. Ada Ellis, Mrs. Vanda Pe- terson and Mrs. Adelaide Thompson nnd were carried" ' from the chapel by Relief So-; So-; ciety members. Burial at the city cemetery was directed by Jacobs Mortuary, Mortu-ary, Mt. Pleasant, with Jack Merrill of Paul, Idaho, a grandson, grand-son, dedicating the grave. Many friends, and relatives from other cities attended the funeral services. The D. U. P. meeting for December De-cember was held Monday at the home of Mrs. Jean Puzey.
