Show Moroni, Fountain Green And Wales Couples Wed Christensen - Garrett Marriage rites were" solemnized solem-nized in the Manti temple Monday Mon-day night, for Miss June Christensen, Chris-tensen, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Christensen, Christen-sen, and Marvin Elgin Garrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Gar rett of Nephi. Immediately following the ceremony the couple was honored hon-ored at a wedding supper in the home of. the! bride's parents The supper was prepared by the bride's two sisters, Mrs. Julia Christensen and Mrs. Nola Bjerregaard of'. Orem, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Don Christensen. Chris-tensen. i A special feature of the wedding wed-ding supper was a beautiful wedding cake which was made by the bridegroom's father, who was formerly a baker. The cake which, was profusely decorated with pink roses, rosebuds, delicate deli-cate green leaves and white trellises, was made in three tiers. It was topped by a miniature min-iature bride and groom. Only members of the immediate imme-diate families were present. Mr. and Mrs. Garrett are at present on a honeymoon trip through the parks of Southern Utah. Upon their return they will make their home in Nephi where Mr. Garrett is employed at the. Thermoid Rubber Plant. More than two hundred guests met in the West Ward chapel Tuesday night - to honor at a nuptial shower Mrs. Marvin Garrett, the former June Christensen, Chris-tensen, who was married in the Manti Temple Monday niEht- . . . Mr. Christensen has recently re-cently returned from a two- year mission in the Central Atlantic At-lantic States. Maxine Arnold-son Arnold-son sang "I Love You Truly", accompanied by Ida Olsen. Maurine Robertson - gave a musical reading, "The Bride and Groom", accompanied by Ida Olsen. Myrna Simpson sang "Again". She, too, was accompanied by Miss Olsen. Joyce Jensen gave a reading on "Marriage" and Delores Lund, Royce Christiansen and Lola Cook gave a tap dance number. They were accompanied by Ilene Madsen at the piano. Mark Christensen, brother of the bride, played a piano solo, and Mrs. Florence Christensen sang, "Friendship", accompanied accompa-nied by Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes. Shirley Little played "Forever and Ever" as an organ solo. Mrs. Minerva Nelson acted as mistress mis-tress of ceremonies. At th; close of the program light re freshments were served. Draper - Memmott Mr. and Mrs. Howarth Draper announce the marriage of their daughter lone to Clark B. Memmott, Mem-mott, son of Mrs. Alton Memmott Mem-mott of Nephi.
