Show Marriage Announced An outstanding social event of tne late summer was the reception recep-tion given, Friday evening in the SythL. D S. .ward chapel by Mr and Mrs. J. Seymour Jensen in honor of the marriage of their daughter Miss Lois Jensen to t-aia b . Nicholes, son of Mrs. Ray D. Nicholes of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Nicholes were married Thursday in the Manti U U. S. temple, with Robert D. Young oficiatin.g. A dinner for the immediate families at the nome of the bride's parents followed. fol-lowed. At the reception, 'the guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Sorensen and Mr: and Mrs. Joseph Nidholes, of American Ameri-can Fork, grandparents of the bride and bridegroom, and the parents ot the couple. The bride wore a white satin gown, in princess style, and a fingertip veil of bride's illusion, caught in a pearl-trimmed 'halo. She carried a shower bouquet of rubrum lilies. She was attended by her sister, sis-ter, Miss Evelyn Jensen, as maid of honor, and Miss Ruth Nicholes of Provo; Miss Norma Sanders of Malta, Idaho; Miss Barbara McKay of Salt Lake City, and Miss Faun Thomsen of Richfield as bridesmaids. They were irocked in pastel-shaded dresses of starched chiffon and lace. Tne flower girls, Helen Loye Jensen and La Juana Sorensen, Sor-ensen, wore long pin'k starched chiffon dresses. Max Nicholes of Provo was best man. The table, covered with an imported lace cloth, was centered center-ed by a three-tired bride's cake, with blue tapers in crystal candelabra can-delabra at each end. Mrs. Nicholes is a graduate of Snow College and Brigham Young university. She was a member of White Key; vice .president .pres-ident of Phi Chi Theta; member of Fidelas social .unit and a Lambda Delta Sigma and a sen-.or sen-.or council member olf the ociated Women Students of B. Y. U. The bridegroom is a graduate of B. Y. U., a former student of Leland Stanford university and .ias aeen assistant teacher in bacteriology bac-teriology department of the B. Y. U. He completed a three-year three-year L. D. S. mission in Germany and is a member of Delta Phf .'raterrtity. ' - Mr. and Mrs. Nicholes will make their home in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Mr. Nicholes will enter the medical school of University Uni-versity oi' Cincinnati, from which he received a teaching .'ellowship. |
