Show Former Residents Of Sanpete Now : Celebrate In Wye. : . : I Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Triplett ; Observe Golden Wedding Day J : Tuesday, September 5th was a' gala day for Mr. and and Mrs. W. H. Triplett of McKennon, Wyoming as they celebrate their Fiftieth Wedding anniversary. anniver-sary. All the children with their fam-, fam-, Hies and other relatives enjoyed , " a bounteous feast . Four of their grandchildren gave toasts. Among the many presents "Ma and Pa" received were two $50.00 bills and a Heatrola. . . Many friends called during the afternoon, and the celebration was finished at night with a free dance for about 200 people. Tributes were paid to the honored hon-ored couple by their son, Ral. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Abbott sang several songs with the group joining in the chorus. There were 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren present. pres-ent. Their son, Ral and wife also celebrated their Silver wedding anniversary. They brought a beautiful decorated cake with . . candles for each anniversary. It : was also the 5th birthday of Ewal Brady, a great grandchild. Mr. Triplett was 81 years of . age last April an Mrs. Triplett was 70 last May. Both enjoy excellent health and can still do a good day's work. Mr. Triplett built a house for one of his daughters last winter and this summer. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Leon Abbott and children of Hinckley, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Ral Triplett and children of Los Angeles, An-geles, California; Mr. and Mrs. '; Kenneth Simmons and children of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mr. Wen-,- dell Triplett of Salt Lake City; Mr.' and Mrs. Ruel .Triplett and -' children of -Rawlins, Wyo.; Mr. i ; and Mrs: Harold Brady and chil-' chil-' dren of McKinnon, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Silas Brewer and Mr. and ." Mrs. Kenneth Burnett and son of ; '' Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ferl Peters - and daughters, Mrs. Merton ; . - Shultz and baby of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bra-' Bra-' " dy and children of McKinnon, -'; Wyoming; Mr. and Mrs. Welby . All of their families and children chil-dren were present, except Ralph Triplett, Max Brady anH Mert Shultz, who are oveseas in the armed forces, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blanchett and children of Washington. Wash-ington. September 7th was also' the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Triplett. |
