Show I Pretty Wedding Reception Given Standing before a mantle banked with pastel shaded chrysanthemums and white tapers, ta-pers, the marriage of Miss Gwen Fritchett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Pritchett, and Lynn R. Ppusen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Poulsen, was solemnized in a double ring ceremony at the Pritchett home with Bishop J. S. Jensen officiating. Given in marriage by her father, fie bride was lovely in a white brocaded satin gown, entrain, with a sweetheart neckline, neck-line, fingertip sleeves and tiny buttons down the back. The veil of bride's illusion fell from a beaded Juliet cap. A bouquet bou-quet of white gardenias, roses and lacy asters completed the lovely ensemble. The bride's only attendant was her sister Mary Ann, who wore a two-skirted net gown, with a lace bodice with a corsage cor-sage of pink roses. Elmer Fil-lis Fil-lis was best man. Mr. Poulsen served in World War II aS a corporal in the 204th F. A. Bn., 3rd Army. He spent four and a half years in the States and European theater, thea-ter, was wounded in France- in the battle at St. Lo and received the purole heart. He . is now employe'd- by Safeway Stores. Miss Pritchett was a graduate of North Sanpete high school attending Snow College at Ephraim at the time of her marriage. mar-riage. The young couple spent their honeymoon in Idaho visiting the groom's brother, Mr. Earl Poulsen Poul-sen and family, and his sister, Mrs. George Shail and family at Rexburg, and the bride's aunt, Mrs. R. E. Hill and family of Idaho Falls, Idaho. For her going away costume the bride wore a suit of red wool gabardine with black accessories acces-sories On Monday evening October Oc-tober 28 Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Prit chett entertained tne young newlyweds at a reception in the South ward amusement hall. In the receiving line flanked by giant chrysanthemums, the guests were greeted by the wedding party. The bride was attended by her sister Mary Ann as maid of honor with Miss Patsy McKay, Miss Dolma Nelson Nel-son and Miss Norma Seely as bridesmaids. They wore gowns of pastel chiffon and corsages of pink roses. Little Susan Pritchett was flower girl and wore a blue frock with tiny bows and a pink rose corsage. The mothers' of the young couple wore black crepe and orchids. Elmer Fillis was best man. . . The guests were directed by two little cousins of the bride, Patsy Birdzell and Paula Jones to the amusement hall where a turkey dinner was served.
