Show Miss Eva Poulson Weds Salt Lake Man in Temple An interesting nuptial event ct the month was the marriage of Miss Eva Madonna Poulson, daughter daugh-ter cf Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Poulson cf Mt Pleasant and J. Lewis Coleman Cole-man of Salt Lake City. The marriage mar-riage was solemnized Wednesday in the Manti Temple. President Robert D. Young officiated. A wedding rec?pticn was given in honor of the couple Friday eve-ning eve-ning at the home of the bride's parents. Over two hundred were bidden. The bridal party stocd in a bower of white and coral chrysanthemums chrysan-themums interspersed with ferns. The brida was lovely in her wed-dng wed-dng gown of white satin entrain. Her long enveloping tulle veil which was edgrd with Chantilly lace fell from her lace cap with hale brim outlined in crange blossoms and tiny peans. Her bridal bouquet was cf pink rose buds and lilies ol the valley. The bride was attended by Miss Ua Peterson and Miss Elma Anderson An-derson as bridesmaids. Miss Anderson's An-derson's dress was a pink taffeta model and Miss Peterson were a flowered silk crepe. They carried bouquets of pink rose buds and white button chrysanthemums Little Card Jean Madsen, flower girl, was dressed in blue taffeta, trimmed with maribou. Frank Coleman, brother of the bridegroom acted as best man. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Poulson and Mr. and Mrs John Coleman. The dining room was under the direction of Mrs. N. Carroll Madsen Mad-sen and Mrs. C. W. Sorensen. They were assisted by a group cf young friends of the bride. Mrs. Clinton Poulson of Copperton and Mrs. J. S Jensen were in charge of the gift rcom. During the evening a musical program was presented with the following participating: Mrs. Ray Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Sorensen cf Salina, Mr. and Mrs. Easton Moffitt of Manti, Bryant .Ta.".nhs and Lois Jensen. In compliment to the bride Mrs. N. Carroll Madsen entertained in J her honor Friday afternoon No- ' vember 20, and Miss Ila Peterson entertained at a miscellaneous ' shower fcr a group of her college friends Monday evening. The bride and her mother enter- -tained at a trouseau tea Sunday -afternoon! of last Week from 2 to 6 o'clock at the Poulson home. The serving table was covered with an exquisite lace cloth. It was centered with a bouquet cf large yellow chrysanthemums Yellow taper candles in crystal candelabra were at each end. Miss Ada Wright and Miss na Peterson presided at the table and poured. Thev were assisted by the Misses Lois Jensen and Eva Colemanl During Dur-ing the afternoon vocal solos were given by Esther Madsen, Pearl Peterson and Lois Jensen. The bride! has been prpular in the younger social sets throughout southern Utah. She is a graduate of the Snow College and was a Senior at the Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. Mr. Coleman is a student of the Coyne Electrical Engineer-irr Engineer-irr Sohr.nl nf (Thicaeo. Following a sn'rt wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Coleman will make their home in Salt Lake City. |
