Show 160 Cars of Lumber Routed Over Keddie Cutoff With the inauguration of freight service over the new lme of the Western Pacific, the Red River Lumber Company dispatched dispatch-ed a "prosperity special" of more than 160 cars of lumber and manufactured forest products from Westwood, California. This special train will move south over the Western Pacific extension, which has Just been completed, to Keddie, where the shipments for California points will be taken out. The train will (hen proceed to Salt Lake City, Utah, and thence via the Denve: and Rio Grande Western to various var-ious eastern points in the Middle West and also on the Atlantic Coast. t . , This is the greatest number of car loads of forest products ever assembled in one movement by a stogie manufacturer. The cars contained lumber and other building build-ing material such as sashes, doors and veneered products to meet current demands of the buildup trade.
