Show Mt. Pleasant People Attend Idaho Funeral Mr. and Mrs. Lou Madsen, Thomas Thom-as Chn-tenren and son Tommy and daughter, Severn and Mrs. Will Bennett of Salt Lake returned : Thuisday from Emctt, Idaho, where! they attended the funeral of Rex P. Averett, sen of Mr. and Mrs. , John Averett. The funeral was h:ld in the L. D. S. chapel where "one of the largest erotvds ever gathered in that com-' munity was in attendance. American Ameri-can Legion members acted as pallbearers pall-bearers and the body was taken to the cemetery under the American flag. At the cemetery the Ameri- i can Legion boys sounded taps and fired the salute. Flowers banked the grave in great profusion. Rex P. Averett was born in Mount Pleasant. September 10, i898, son of John and Maud Bennett Averett. He is survived by his wife and three children, his parents, three brothers and a sister. |
