Show Frank I. Child Dies at Chester Franklin I. Child, 57, a resident resi-dent of Chester for 55 years and a successful farmer and stock raiser, died suddenly from heart failure Thursday, April 28th at 4:30 A. M. at his home. He had been in poor health for the past few months. He was injured in an automobile accident last September Septem-ber when he was returning home from Idaho and had not been well since. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. P. Madsen of Chester; Mrs. J. A. Swensen and Miss Lydia Child of Soda Springs, Idaho; Mrs. A. G. Larson of Weiser, Idaho; J. E. Child of Helper; O. C. Child oi Alexandra, Idaho; A. W. Child of Mt. Pleasant and V. C. Child of Richfield. Impressive funeral services were held Sunday, May 1st, at 1 o'clock p. m. in the L. D. S. ward chapel with Bishop Joseph Bag-nail Bag-nail in charge. The prayers were offerd by Rodley Bagnall of Chester and Clarence Smith of Richfield. The choir sang "O My Father," "Come Let us Anew," and "We Shall Meet Beyond the River." Mrs. Rowlin Bagnall sang a solo, "Lead Me Gently On." The speakers -were Bishop W. L. Warner of Richfield, Patriarch Orlando Bradley of Moroni, A. J. Reese of Wales and Bishop Joseph Jos-eph Bagnall. C. C. Christensen dedicated the flower covered grave. Burial was at the Moroni City Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Grant Madsen, Elwood Madsen, Linn Child, Leonard Child, Howard George and Lyle Kump. Relatives who came from out of town to attend the funeral were: Mrs. J. A. Swensen, Mrs. L. C. Child, Miss Lydia Child, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Madsen of Soda Springs, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Child, Richfield; Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Child and Mr. and Mrs. Howard George, Alexandra, Idaho; Mrs. A. G. Larson, Weiser, Idaho; Leonard Child, Grace, Idaho; Miss Thelma Child, Mt. Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. Linn Child, Cedar City and Afton Cameron of Toole. |
