Vlter the accident, Mr. Oil en was taken to the Emergency hospital, v. h.-re examination showed that he had suffered a compound fracture of the left le", and numerous larcerations larcera-tions on the head and body. After receiving first aid treatment at the limergency hospital he was removed to St. Mark's hospital. Funeral services were hel-i at the Waterloo warj chapel, in Salt Iike ( ''ity, Sunday, August 31st, at 2 p. :u. The speakers were John H. Mi -bo; and Harry H. Mieboj of Og-den. Og-den. Pleasant leine-ery, the triivK being dedicated by Bishop Mclutosh. Mr. Orten was born in Holland, 'line 1 4 h . 1840. He was married to Minetje Moon in 1ST0. He embraced the L. D. S. faith in the his native land, and came to L'tah with trs i'linily in the fall of 1SS9, moving directly to Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Often died several years ago. In 1910 Mr. Otten moved to Salt Lake City, v here he has resided ever since. Three years ago he was married to Mrs. Minetje Newman, who with his 'hree children. Merienes Otten and Mrs. Gertrude Hooton of Salt Lake City, and John W. 0:ten. survives him. Among those who came to Mt.
