Show Social Happenings Edgar Nelson and Talula Frand-sen, Frand-sen, two of our popular young people peo-ple were married Wednesday of last week in the Manti Temple. They returned the same evening and enjoyed en-joyed a pleasant family dinner at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Frandsen. Their host of friends are extending congratulations con-gratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life. Mrs. E. R. Poulsen entertained at a Kensington Thursday afternoon at her home, in honor of Mrs. Hans Poulson and family who left Friday for St. Anthony, Idaho. A very pleasant afternoon was spent in sewing sew-ing and social conversation followed by an elaborate luncheon. Th"se present were: Mesdames Hans Poulsen, Poul-sen, Anthony and LeRoy Poulsen, Andrew Larsen, Jas. Monsen Harold Har-old Sorenson, Jas. Larsen, E. H. Ericksen, C. W. Sorenson, Peter Svvensen, Hr E. Ericksen, G. Beck-strom, Beck-strom, Eric Gunderson and hostess. Mrs. Chris. Brotherson entertained at her home for Mrs. Hans Poulsen Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Henry Ericksen entertained at luncheon Monday afternoon for Mrs. Dr. A. J. Stewarc of Salt Lake City. .. The 0. N. 0. club girls, six in num -ber enjoyed a pleasant theater party last Thursday evening. Refreshments Refresh-ments were enjoyed at the Drug Store after the show. The girls in the party were: Hilda Madsen, Viola Vi-ola Whittaker. Carol Rasmussen, Tresa Larsen. Virgie Whitlock and Stella Truscott. The dancing party for Wm. L. Madsen at the Opera House Monday evening was a decided success, it was not only a pleasant social affair but a financial success as well. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Barton enter-j tained about a dozen people at a 1 family dinner at their home Sunday afternoon. Those present were: Messrs. and Mesdames, Henry Ericksen, Erick-sen, Eric Ericksen H. E. Ericksen, Lawrence Ericksen, Jas, Ericksen,! Mrs. Elsie Ericksen, and Miss Ericksen. Erick-sen. A sumptuous dinner was enjoyed en-joyed and a pleasant afternoon spent. The ladies of the Home Culture club and their husbands entertained i at an informal social Monday evening even-ing at the home of Prof, and Mrs. Johns in honor of two of their outgoing out-going officers Mrs. J. W. McGann and Mrs. J. W. Cherry. Music, games and refreshments made a pleasant evening. |
