Show summit forms cooperative market sixty of the leadin leading g dairymen ot of the north end of summit county met last thurmay evening at the cour court t house in coalville Co alville with representatives of the state farm bureau and other interested parties and organized the first unit of a cooperative market marketing in g association tor for dairy products the meeting which was arranged by county agent david sharp jr represented farmers from Wan wanshin wanship ship I 1 henefer re nefer upton and other points in this locality J R buse busa vice pres president I 1 dent and frank evans general counselor coun the farm bureau association addressed the meeting together with representatives from some of the dairy companies and C P stott director of farm management and marketing of the utah state agricultural colleg college e staff plan were discussed for the improvement pro of th the e market marketing ling conditions of cream and milk products and tentative discussions had regarding the reopening ot of the creamery formerly operated at hoytsville A committee consisting of albert mills of hoytsville don birch of coalville Co alville carl hixon of wanship Wan War ship iship vem avem deming of upton and ray clark of east ea st coalville Co alville was appointed to meet with other interested parties from other sections of the county and work out a plan for the organization ot of the county as one unit of this work at the meeting here approximately 1000 head of dairy stock were represented and with meetings scheduled for parleys park kamas and other points it is expected that the total number of animals represented by the county association will reach to or head centralized marketing and a better distribution trib ution of various dairy products is the principal aim of the new group |
