Show IN mrs lenore evans boyden 62 wife of john L boyden and life long resident of coalville Co alville passed away at her home in in Co alville last thursday january 1931 the news of her sudden death came as a great shock to her many friends and spread a shadow over the entire county mrs boyden was bom in coal ville september 1 1867 a daughter of henry and anna bruun evans and had resided in Co alville most of her life she was educated at the brigham young university and taught in several different schools in sun summit anit county for several years she was married to john L boyden in Co coalville alville on september ath 1899 and served as president of the Y L M 1 I A stake board for several years besides her husband she is survived by her mother mrs anna bruun evans and a son maurice boyden of Co alville brothers and sisters P C frank and L M evans of salt lake city and wilma evans of los angeles impressive funeral services were re held in the summit stake tabernacle last sunday at 3 p in under the ithe direction of bishop sumner salmon the order of the services was as follows opening prayer by pres pre s 0 W stephens violin solo by miss france evans accompanied by her mother mrs maidic evans remarks by brother george beard lifelong life longeri long friend end of the evans and boyden fa families milles violin duet by bernice salmon and norene Rl chins accompanied by ids mrs rhea stacey address by elder wllliam Wll llam H foland justice supreme p reme court of utah and intimate friend of the family soprano solo resignation by mrs judith anderson beard sermon by elder milton 11 welling secretary of state of the state of utah benediction e edic tion by elder heber wilde interment was in the Co alville city cemetery and the grave was dedicated by elder john H lamb pau pall bearers were frederick evans grant evans everett boyden john boyden parley neeley paul barber byron wilde and donald folland no higher evidence of the respect and esteem in which the deceased was heldry helda by the people of her old home in tact fact the entire community could be shown than was indicated by the large gathering aw assembled Ambled to pay tribute to this kindly noble and christian woman the moral floral offerings were most profuse and beautiful to the heartbroken family who sit in sorrow where her foot steps shall never again find echo we extend sincere sympathy |
