itiative petition proposals According to a recent press release the Association also criticized the Commission for claiming that ten percent of state and local government workers would be fired if the initiatives are approved by voters in November A Tax Commission report released “A” last month shows Proposition would cut $185 million in property taxes statewide UTA said the figure is closer to $80 million and accused the Commission of intentionally distorting the figures to frighten citizens into voting against the initiative “The Tax Commission analysis puts the property tax limit at 610th of
