Show Millard County FLOWELL Virgie Ivie Fh ' Senior Citizen News by Name Petersen Everyone seemed glad to be back at the center after a nice Thanksgiving holiday Now we can start getting ready for Christmas Most of our decorations are out and when the tree is up it will be very festive The Rotary Club has for years provided us with a Christmas tree which is really a big help Also they have a nice party for us This year they are going to have a ham supper a program and then a ride around town to see the Christmas decorations All this is free and if any senior citizen would like to participate please call me Sunat or Friday Saturday day The date is Thursday Dec 17 at 5:30 pm This is a Christmas present to the senior citizens from the Rotary members The bus is going to Provo Friday Dec 11 and to Salt Lake Saturday Dec 12 The suggested donation is $400 and $600 respectively Last year the bad weather prevented our annual trip to see the decorations in the big city so we hope we have better luck this time Western Gertrude our program chairman has lined up programs for Dec 9 and 16 and I am sure they will be something to get us in a holiday mood so plan to be there Beginning Tuesday January 5 we are going to have our 1 uesday meal at 6:00 pm Our attendance on that day has been very low and we thought perhaps a good dinner at a suggested notice William is hereby
