Delta North salutes two new staff members Assembly sums up academic year Although the end of the third term at Delta High is long past the traditional Honors Assembly has not been forgotten and will be held Monday April 26 at 1:20 in the auditorium This assembly will recognize not only the third term honor high honor and 40 students but it will also honor those who have maintained three terms of that status The National Honor Society is sponsoring the assembly as a service project Greenwood Mrs social Marilyn science teacher at DHS will be the guest speaker Peggy Hansen NHS president said “Anyone in the community is invited Not only parents but to attend anyone Mrs Greenwood is a great Delta North Elementary In The News Citizens of the Month for March Linda Eskelin speaker" Delia North Elementary salutes Mrs mda Tskelin our most recent addition to the Special Education Department Mrs Eskelin joined the DNES 1985 staff on April She works with our ESL (English as a Second Language) students as well Mrs Lskehn’s warm and charming personality has already endeared her to the many students she woiks with daily Mrs skelin was born in Glasgow Montana She has two brothers and two sisters She has lived in several of the United states namely: Montana Washington Illinois Michigan Ohio Kansas Missouri and Utah She tended Coulee Dam I lementary and from Coulee Dam High graduated School in Washington slate She also attended Washington State University Mrs Lskelin is married to Stacey skelin of Kalama Washington The couple met at work Both were working for the Grand Coulee Dam Project Bureau of Reclamation in Washington Hie skelins have two sons: Kori and Ricky Mrs Eskelin has kept busy during her lifetime She has been a secretary a personnel clerk and a teacher’s aide She is very active in the Presbyterian Church In her spare time Mrs Lskelm cookenjoys crocheting ing and traveling Mrs Eskelin fondly remembers an element aiy experience of learning to play chess Her fifth grade teacher taught the entire class the game Mrs skelin has enjoyed her stay at Della North thus far She especially staff She joys the friendly feels right at home among DNES staff and patrons even though her stay m Delta has been short Delta North is skelin in our delighted to have Mrs stalf She has been a part of us all year her volunteer work and through substitute teaching We’re happy she decided to become a permanent fixture!
