Show Mr. and Mrs. Fay D. Walker, o( , Salt Lake City, announce the birth of a granddaughtei. born Oct. 18th, to Mr. and .Mrs. R. L. N'orris, of Pleasant drove. Utah. The baby, which was prematurely premature-ly born, weighed ,'i pounds, is in an incubator, and wili be kept in the hospital at Amoric-tn Fork, for three mouths. The tiny girl is the first great rrandi-hild of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Walker, of Sutherland, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Bishop of Delta. Blythe Pace, from Los Angeles, arrived in Delta Saturday for a week's visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pare. M. O. Warnick, and bis son, Golden Gol-den Warnick, returned to Delia Saturday night from a trip to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Dee Smith and daughter, Barbara Jean, from Oakland, are visiting in Delta this week with Mrs. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Mortensen. Ellis Whicker drove up from Los Angeles this week, for the deer season. His cousin, Mrs. Joe Kerr, made the trip with him, and is visiting vis-iting here with Mrs. Amanda Whicker and Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Whicker. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Works and their nine months old son, from Oakland are visiting in Delta during dur-ing the deer season. I Mr. and Mrs. John Eader and Mrs. t Clara Malone, from Huntington lleacli, California, are visiting in Delta with their sister, Mrs. Ralph Morrison. Their brother, Mitchell Clark and son, Stanley, is also here for the deer season, and staying with Mr. anrl Mrs. Rufus Clark. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Moody, from Encino. California, and Mr. anrl Mrs. Bob Yundt and their small son, are visiting here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Moody are with Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Underbill, and Mr. and Mrs. Yundt are with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Moody. Joe H. Little left Tues'day to return re-turn to bis home in Pasadena, California, Cal-ifornia, after a visit here for the deer hunting. Joe went out hunting with Doyle Berry, and got his buck to take home with him. A. E. Stephenson and Mr. and Mis. Joseph L. Anderson, of Oak City, attended the funeral services of Carl Seeley Johnson in Midvale on Tuesday. Mr. Johnson was the husband of Mr. Stephenson's and Mrs. Anderson's sister. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart went to Salt Lake City last Friday, where Mrs. Stewart entered the Holy Cross hospital for treatments. Mr. Stewart returned to Delta Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bishop and their three children, from Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bishop, and infant daughter, from Spring-ville, Spring-ville, visited in Delta this week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Avery Bishop. Alvin and Frank went deer hunting with their father, fath-er, on Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Leonard Broderick spent the i week end in Eureka with her daughters, Mrs. Gurley, Mrs. Laird and Mrs. Newman, while their husbands hus-bands were deer hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Max Kay, were also there, and Max went out with the deer hunters. The Petty family wish to invite all their friends and neighbors to attend church services Sunday evening, ev-ening, Oct. 27th, in the Delta Second Sec-ond ward chapel. Music will be furnished by the Petty Slack I string trio from Provo. Jean Slack will also play two violin solos. Mr. and Mrs. Walter King, from Torrance, California, visited in Delta Del-ta this week with Mr. and Mrs. David Jacobs, on their way to Montana. Mon-tana. Mrs. Herbert Tucker returned from Salt Lake City, Sunday. She was there with her daughter, Mrs Edna Anderson, who was operated on. |
