Show Rites At ilyrum Thursday Siated For Aged Mother Mrs. Boletta Wilson Israelsen, 89 died at the home of her daughter, j Mrs. Alice Gardner, Tuesday at j 7:30 p.m. of causes incident to age. Her home had been with Mrs. Gardner for the past two years. ! She was born March 16, 1863 at ! Hyrum, Utah, a daughter of John j C. and Lucy Bensen Wilson. She ' was married to Andrew M. Israel-sen Israel-sen November 23, 1882, in the Salt Lake Endowment House, and their home was made at Hyrum. Mr. Israelsen died there May, 1939. Mrs. Israelsen was an active LDS member, and had served in the Relief Society and Primary in her ward in Hyrum. She was a member of Cynthia Benson Camp, D. U. P. Her parents were early pioneers at Hyrum and Mrs. Israelsen was one of the first children born in the Old Fort where the settlers sought protection from Indians. She was devoted to her family of ten children and took pride in their accomplishments. She is survived by five sons, John A. Israelsen and Eilert K. Israelsen of Hyrum, Dr. Orson W. Israelsen, Logan; Bishop Victor E. Israelsen, North Logan; and Dr. Vernon L. Israelsen, engaged in government work in San Juan, Porto Rico; and two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth I. Allred, Hyrum, and Mrs. Alice Gardner, Delta; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Jensen, Hyrum. and Mrs. Adeline Christensen, Ogden; Og-den; three brothers, Joseph Wilson, Hyrum, Isaac Wilson, Ogden, and George Wilson, Malad, Idaho. 51 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted in Hyrum First ward Tuesday Tues-day at 1 p.m. by Bishop John W. Jorgenson. Burial will be in the Hyrum cemetery. |
