Miss Marilyn Scheulburg of Ida-ho was a guest of Bob Nielson and his parents for the holiday week-end. Mrs. Lucille Overson and her mother, Mrs. Essie Anderson atten-ded a funeral in Provo Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson drove to Cedar City Sunday to take their son Tillman who will attend the BAC. They called on Mr. and Mrs. Roy Terry and enjoyed a short vieit with them. Also with Mrs. Lottie Gronning of Milford, who was a weekend guest at the Ter-ry home. Mrs. Maurine Miller and child-ren and Mrs. Ella Miller drove up from Milford and spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of Maur-ine'- s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Banks. Mr. Lee Shipey has been called back to work at Provo. He left Monday. Mrs. Adelia Coleman is feeling better after a two day stay at the Delta hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Art Simmons and children of Pocatello came down with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark Satur-day for the picture show. They all returned to Provo after the show. Mrs. Roy Nielson and daughters Colleen and Kathlyn drove to Salt Lake Friday. They visited in Spring ville Saturday and report that Mrs. Luta Watts was taken to the Utah Valley hospital in very serious con dition . We hope she will soon be better. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dutson of Salt Lake were home for Thanks-giving having dinner with Cherie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mills. Mrs. Mary Johnson, Connie, Marie and Ross were Nephi visitors Fri-day. The weather has been grand and the last of the threshing was finished yesterday. From school came Gladys Banks, of BYU , Bob and Kent Nielson from USAC and Col-leen Nielson from BAC. Mr. and Mrs. De Long Banks and boys of Provo were at the J. A. Banks home. De Long returned Thursday evening. Roselee and her sons also Gladys returned Sunday with Mrs. Hattie Anderson. The Irvin Whatcott family as-sembled at the lovely new home of Mr. and Mrs. Newell Howlett at Kanosh. Mr. and Mrs. Garth What-cott and Mr. and Mrs. Carl What-cott and son, Phil, of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson of Milford and Mr. Harold Whatcott and Miss Shirley Smith of Salt Lake City were present. Earl Greathouse, Don and Vona Lue drove to Pocatello and spent the Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Walker, returning Sun-day. Mrs. Lowell Wilkins had her sis-ter, Mrs. Phillip Bennett and fam-ily of Hinckley for the big day. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Freer drove to Bountiful where they enjoyed a two-da- y visit with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stienboch. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson and sons, Kent, Blaine, Dee and Joe, with Mrs. Erona Roper and family drove to Aurora where they joined other members of the Collier Lov-e- ll family at a big dinner, at the home of Mrs. Sadie Christenson. There were 38 members of the family assembled. The day was enjoyed very much by everyone. Mrs. Mary Smith and Annette and Margaret met Mr. Jim Smith in Salt Lake City where they had turkey dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Easterbrook and family. They all drove home after dinner and Mr. Smith returned to work in Og-de- n Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Willden re- turned recently from a trip thro-ugh the southwest, visiting El Paso Texas, on into old Mexico and home through Albuquerque. Mr and Mrs. Robert Webb, of Deseret made the trip with them. On their return they found their daughter Mar Jean Willden, had broken her collar bone in a ball game, but was recovering well. |
