Mr. and Mrs. Terah Billings of Salt Lake were visitors at parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Billings, over the week. While here the four .of them attended the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. Gerald Billings only living brother, Mr. and Mrs. Claude (Lydia Workman) Billings of Provo. The reception was at the home of their son, Mr., and Mrs. Evan Billings, and family. There is also one living sister, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (Lillian) Brady of Fairview and they also attended the reception. recep-tion. Mrs. Alice Gardner attended Education Ed-ucation Week at BYU from Tuesday to Friday. The theme was "Values in a. World of Change." Each day classes started at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Devotional speaker Wednesday was Franklin D. Richards, ass't to the Council of the Twelve. His subject was "Eternal Values." Thursday, "The Changing LDS Communications Communica-tions Program World Wide," by Arch L. Madsen, president of KSi, radio and TV and all LDS Church broadcast operations. Mr. Frank Roberts left by plane this week for Rockville, Maryland, to visit a month with his son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Roberts. Then the Brigade trained in company, battalion, and brigade-size tactics at Camp Shelby, Miss., where some terrain features resemble those found in Vietnam. The 199th Infantry Brigade trained mainly for heliborne operations. Early in October an advance party left for Vietnam, and the remainder of the organization arrived there during December. Brig. Gen. John F. Freund assumed command of the 199th Infantry Brigade in Vietnam in March, 1967. The Brigade, known informally as the 199th Light Infantry the unofficial monicker, "The Redcatchers." Lyman Finlinson of Oak City and member of the Deseret Sunday School Board visited our ward Sun day. High Councilman Joe Moody of Delta visited Priesthood meeting, Sunday School and presented the fol lowing program at Sacrament meet ing. Talks were by Mrs. Moody, Darlene Overson, Jim Nielson, and Mr. Moody. There wns a large crowd in attendance. Mr. and M-s. Louis Overson are leaving Thursday for Mesa, Ariz., to attend the wedding of Stanley Moulton. Kay Nielson, Sheila Nielson and Julie Nelson went to Moroni Friday evening to the wedding reception of DeeAnn Blackburn and Steve Sparks of Nephi. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Bennett re turned home Saturday after having spent the week in Snlt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Verland Willden and family. Dale Jensen is spending his vaca tion at Calif, with Charles and Diane Allen. Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Bennett are visiting at Calif, with their son, Rulon Dee and family. The program at Sacrament meet ing Sunday evening was put on under the direction of Highcouncil-man Highcouncil-man LaForge Lovell. Sunday, June 18, is Father's Day. Webb went to Salt Lnke Monday, June 12 for the wedding of their granddaughter, Vicky Moffitt, and Val Ray Todd which was performed in tiie Salt Lake Temple.
