Show Millard County Chronicle Thursday, October 13, 1966 Mrs. Hampton Speaks Today Lucybeth Rampton will be guest speaker at the Fine Arts Guild meeting Thursday, Oct. 13 (today) The meeting hegins at 4:00 p.m. in the Little Theater at the new Delta High School. A charge of 50c will be made of non-members. Mrs. Rampton will speak on "Women in Today's World." Mrs. Rampton, a native Utahn, met her husband in Washington, D.C. while he was working for Congressman Con-gressman J. Will Robinson and she was working for Ernest L. Wilkinson. Wilkin-son. The couple were married there and came back to Utah to make their home. She is the mother of four children, two girls and two boys. Mrs. Rampton graduated from Utah State University when it was still the A.C. and received her B.A. degree in English. They visited their son David and family at Colo. Springs. They attended at-tended the Air Force-Navy footbali game at which there were 47,000 in attendance. They also, visited at Cripple Creek. There was about 6 inches of snow on the Continental Divide. Everyone is saddened and send sympathy to the Jay Bonn family, who received word last Saturday cf the death of their son son. Lance Cpl. David J. Bohn, who was killed in Vietnam Oct. 5. David had had his 19th birthday while serving in that country. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Robison and family of Provo spent Sunday in Delta with their families, Mr. and Mrs. June Black and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Robison. Mrs. Verdella Adams and Joan attended a farewell testimonial in Salt Lake, Sunday, for a nephew, David Reams, who is leaving soon for a 2-year mission to Australia. In the report on the new grandson grand-son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kimber, born to Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Waren-ski Waren-ski it was printed that the new bf.by had been named Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller were guest a week ago of Mr. and Mis. Bill Miller of Provo, on an enjoyable enjoy-able trip into scenic Southern Utah. The Ed Millers visited their daughter daugh-ter Joyce and Duane Terry and 2 girls in Las Vegas recently. Bishop Wydell Jeffory, wife and infant son of Ely. were Delta visitors vis-itors a week ago Sunday. They had been to Conference in Salt Lake. Mrs. Van Bishop spent 3 days in Idaho Falls last week with daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Griffins and the new baby. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hardy and 2 children, Ann and Greg of Draper, visited recently with parents, Mr. end Mrs. Bert Sorenson. Mr. Charles Allen and Mrs. Ruth Steele spent two days in Salt Lake visiting Ruth's father, Charles M. Jensen, 84 years old, who is in the St. Marks Hospital recovering from two major operations. Ruth reports he is doing fine and is much improved. im-proved. Lt. Col. Calvin R. Maurer and his wife Janet, and children of Montgomery, Mont-gomery, Alabama, visited at the Wm. S. Bassett and Louise M. Lyman Ly-man homes recently. Mr. Maurer is the son of Kate and the late Fred Maurer. Mrs. Maurer is a sister to Mrs. Bassett and Mrs. Lyman. WithtlraMi'H I. FLORA B.
