Show HAPPENINGS AT HOLDEN Jessie Teeples, Representative The past week has been well spent In amusements. Wednesday night a dance and supper was given to the i wood haulers. Everybody seemed to ; enjoy tnemselves. Thanksgiving day was enjoyed by all. A meeting at 10 o'clock, a children's chil-dren's dance In the afternoon and a grand ball at night. The Holden Dramatic Co. presented a play Friday night entitled "The Last l,ouf." Every one seemed to enjoy It and It was a credit to our little company. com-pany. They had a full house. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Isslcy Thompson. All concerned doing do-ing well. AH of our students from the M. 8. A. were lu:::ie for Thanksgiving, also Maude Stller from Oasis came with them. Florence Stevens, who Is teaching school in Kanosh, was home for a few days. The people of Holden extend their deepest sympathy to all relatives and , friends for the death of Mr. Robins of Hclplo. We are having lovely weather. Just like spring days Instead of December. The men of Holden are taking ad- vantage of the good weather and a ' number of them have gone to Delta to i work. |
