Show MEXICAN DROWNED. A Mexican section band, one of five working on the railroad near Delta, j was drownei In the pond between the railway and the canal about two miles above town last Saturday, lie had gone to the pond at noon with hi com panlons to take a bath. Stepping into the water his feet slipped on the smooth and steep band and he slid Into the water which was over ten feet deep. He evidently could not J swim for he never reappeared on the ( mrface.
