Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mrs. Earl Stonehocker, who has been visiting relatives here tRe past two weeks, returned to her home in Salt Lake City, Wednesday. Air. and Mrs. Steve Harris have gone to Beaver to live. Otto Schwob of Beaver, was a Mil-ford Mil-ford visitor Monday. I Mrs- Neilson Hostess j Mrs. Ethel Neilson entertained the P. H. C. club at her home last Saturday. Sat-urday. An interesting game of bridge was played, Mrs. Nettie Kirk winning prize for points, and Ardath Outzen, prize for honors. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served to Orina Carlson, Lulu Clay, Alda Young, Nettie Kirk, Susie Smith, Emma Smith and Ardath Ar-dath Outzen. The club members presented Mrs. Carlson with a beautiful birthday gift. Mrs. Fernley Enterains Mrs- R. E. Collinson of Reno, Nev., who visited here with her mother, Mrs. Bert Price, last week was the motif for a delightful bridge luncheon lunch-eon Wednesday, given by Mrs. Will Fernley, at her home. Those present were the Mesdames Cochrane, Rusch-meier, Rusch-meier, A. E. Smith, Irv. Campbell, Price, Hedges, McKay and the guest of honor, Mrs. R. E. Collinson- Score prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. Price, honors; Mrs. Campbell, points. Bridge Party at Ferguson Home On Tuesday, January 29, a number num-ber of friends surprised Mrs. E. L. Ferguson at her home with a handkerchief hand-kerchief shower, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. A p!e-a--ant time was spent playing Five Hundred Hun-dred and a splendid radio program was enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Earl Gleason held the highest, score at 500 and Miss Etta Cuff, trie lowest. The concluding feature of the evening, was a sumptious lunchoon served at midnight. Covers were laid for Mrs. Tom Beard, Mrs. L. G. Clay, Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs- Earl Gleason, Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. Tom Johansen, Mrs. J. E. Yither, Mrs. Roy White, Sr., Mrs. Martha Armstrong, Mrs. B. H. Young, Mrs. Freda Outzen, Out-zen, and Miss Etta Cuff, of Marys-vale. Marys-vale. D. D. S. Club On Saturday P. M., of last week, Mrs. Wm. Ashworth delightfully entertained en-tertained the members of her "500" club. Mrs. Merrill Edwards and Mrs. Alfred Horton won the prizes at cards. Those in attendance were Mrs. Warren Atkin, Mrs. Earl Dewey, Mrs. Merrill Edwards, Mrs- Bell Talbot, . . Mrs. Leonard Muir, and Mrs. Myles White. All enjoyed a tempting lunch- j eon. j |
