Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS R. W. Connell was up from Caliente for the week-end. W. H. Burnett of Salt Lake spent most of the past week in Milford. Scott Barton of Richfield was in town yesterday. I C. H. Bixby has returned to Mil-ford, Mil-ford, i Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Johnson of Hollywood, California are in Milford. Lee Pitchforth of Salt Lake City arrived Wednesday for a brief stay. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tanner motored to Beaver Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Z. C. Landes went to Lehmans Cave Wednesday, accompanied accompan-ied by the two Flamo salesmen. S. G. Cole was down from the Moscow Mos-cow the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Al Cline came over from Cedar to hear the election returns. re-turns. The B. of L. E. Masquerf.de ball Hallowe'en night was a huge success. The hall was crowded to utmost capacity, ca-pacity, and by special permission from the city authorities, the dance continued until 1:30 in the morning Handsome new fixtures have been installed at the U. P. newstand. Mrs. Harvey Dean was a Salt Lake visitor ove rthe week end. Apostle Richard R. Lyman visited in Milford Sunday and spoke at the L. D. S. church. The Mutual Imrpovement association' program, prepared for that evening, was postponed until next Sunday evening, November 9th. Vernon Willden, 20 year old, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday morning morn-ing after a lingering illness. His father, fa-ther, Clarence Willden, died several months ago. George Beach, of Baker, Nevada, was in Milford several days tis week, buying cattle. They ut up twenty five buying cattle. They put up twenty-five tousand tons of hay at the big ranch head of cattle. The masonry at the new Telephone building is finished, making a very handsome building.. The heating apparatus ap-paratus and other equipment is now being installed. . |
