The Award, founded in 1994 in honor of Wells Farrer and Amy Knowles Farrer, is presented annually to one elementary teacher and one upper class teacher. EIRoy Stucki, Beaver, received the '94 upper class award, and Carol Wiseman, Milford, earned elementary honors. Belknap teacher, Martha Bradshaw, is the recipient of the 1995 elementary award. Twenty-fiv- e of Limb's twenty-seve- n years as a teacher have been spent in Beaver County. He taught 6th grade at Milford Elementary before moving to his present position as 7th and 8th grade teacher at Minersville School. Limb says all of his students have been special. Aside from academics. Limb includes emphasis on honesty, responsibility, and learning right from wrong. Cullen Carter was honored for his achievements as wrestling coach. In 1981 he started as assistant coach and moved up to head coach the following year. During that time he has worked under seven principals at Milford High School, coached 35 wrestlers to the top four positions in the state finals. In addition to this year's state champion, Lenn Florence, Carter has coached six other state champions, David White, Pete Florence, Ryan Puffer, Robbie Romine, Chris Barnes (2 years) and Jared Barnes. The highlight of his career, to this point, was winning the BeaverParowan Tournament and taking 3rd in the state tournament. Carter doesn't count time by years, but by the boys on the team. "Five or six years ago; it was the year Ryan Puffer was a senior," he said. He has a pretty low-ke-y approach to coaching. ""The kids are the one who succeed. I just try to be there for them," he said. For the future, he added, "I have enjoyed working with Milford youth. They are outstanding young men and women. I'd just like to continue doing what I have been doing." Lenn Florence and The award was presented by wrestling Shad Holm.
