To Meet Nov. 13 Community Club Brid~ Touznament Ends With Thursday's session, the bridge tournament, sponsored by the Midvale Ladies Community club, came to a successful close. Prizes for the bride series were books of defense saving stamps, won by Mary Armstrong, Hilma Wiles, Mildred Rasmussen, Marie Phelps, Vella Jones, Louise Anderson, Hazel Bird, Marian Despain, Joyce Goff, Dorothy Walker, Beth Johnson, Audra Cox and Lauretta Fenn. House. prizes were furnished by Mrs. Kenneth Booth, Mrs. Henry Beckstead, Mrs. M. S. Peterson and Mrs. Hyrum P. Cannon. These prizes were won by Grace Miller, Margaret Lindsay, Beth Johnson and Violet Gardner. Small Host GiTes Hallowe'en Party Harold Velie Wright, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Wright, was host to a group of little friends at the family home last Saturday. Ten guests in costumes enjoyed an afternoon of games and refreshments. Dora Davis and Michael Wright won the prizes awarded for the games. The Glover camp, D. U. P., will hold their regular meeting Thursday, Nov. 13, at 2 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Bertha Brunson in Midvale. All members are urged to attend the meeting. =4 Mn. Steadman Entertains Brother at Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Roy Steadman entertained at dinner Wednesday for Mrs. Steadman's brother, Farrel Pugmire, who is home on vacation from the Coast Guard.
