Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 11, 12 and 13, East Midvale ward will hold a bazaar. The different organizations of the ward will have booths where suitable Christmas presents will be on sale. A fine program has been arranged for each night. Attractive Curtains Beautify Auditorium For many years the auditorium has been without any kind of window curtain, and, if the school tried to have a matinee performance that called for a darkened room, whoever was in charge was unable to get the room as dark as was necessary to make the entertainment a success. But this condition is now past history. Last week sixteen, beautiful curtains were placed upon the windows by the Hermance Scenic company. They are of dark blue velvet lined with sateen. There are two parts to each: the lower or main curtain, which excludes the light; and the valance or upper curtain. Each upper curtain is trimmed with a strip of gold braid placed horizontally about three inches from its top. At the same distance from the bottom of this curtain is another strip placed in curves forming a curned fringed bottom, also of gold. These curtains match the large stage curtain which was put up about two years ago. The new curtains have been hung at a cost of four hundred and fifty dollars, but their value as decorations and as window blinds will be . worth it.
