Among those who came and also visited at the Scott home were Ralph Thompson, Salt Lake City; Woodruff and Irene Thompson, Provo; Dorothy Jonas, Clair and Opal Thompson, son Mark and daughter Mary Kathryn, a daughter and her husband Cheryl and Ralph Smith ajid five sons all of Salt Lake City. Also attending were Lee Crabb, Tim and Heather Crab and Lynn Crabb, all of Provo. A reunion of the Snow High School classes of 1940-4was held Saturday, May 26 at the Snow College Cafeteria. The 1 Last Chance reunion brought together 62 class members for dinner and a program. They had pictures taken and awarded prizes and did a lot of visiting. They also made a tour of the lower floor of the Noyes Building where their first classrooms had been and recalled names of teacher they had known. They also toured the Snow College lower campus and participated in the Scandinavian Festival activities. These classes began their high school education in the Noyes Building, then went to the old high school building and back to the Snow College building to finish their high school education. Directing the reunion was Fern L. Tew. She was assisted by Ruth Blaine, Carol A. Christensen, Una Gwen Christensen, Elaine T. David and Carrie Scott of Artesia, New Mexico, spent May 24th in Ephraim at the home of Davids folks, Dave and Maurine Scott, where they helped celebrate Maurines birthday, that day. A Sunday afternoon family at the home of Morris and Lucile Sorenson provided an opportunity for visiting for many of the family. Sybil Bessey came from her home in Las Vegas, Nevada to spend the weekend with her folks. Two daughters, Marjorie Stringham, Bountiful Eudora Nielson went to Salt Lake City last week to attend the play Big River at the University of Utah. Her grandson, Scott Nielson, played the role of Tom Sawyer. Scott is the son of Kathleen Nielson and the late David Nielson. June Blackham accompanied her daughter-in-law- , Mrs. Glenna Cornell to Ephraim to visit many other family members and friends. They attended the open house at the Ephraim Senior Citizen Center Monday honoring Gladys Dean on her 90th birthday. All of Gladys children, except one son, and many grandchildren were present. June has been in Seattle, Washington since May 3rd with Glenna and her family. Prior to that she spent some time with a son Robert Blackham and his Mantl Elementary PTA officers donated $1000 to Mantl Elementary School to be used for playground equipment.
