Kiersten Dey Editors Note: Knights Noteworthy is a new program at MHS which gives teachers the opportunity to spotlights students in their classroom. Throughout the school year, each teacher and staff member will have the opportunity to recognize two students. Peter Richardson is a freshman in Coach Hugentoblers 1st period algebra class. Coach Hugentobler thinks that Peter is a great kid. He is always prepared for class and is very cooperative. He always participates and is not afraid to ask questions. He does what he is supposed to do and Nanette Sorenson never gives any back talk. Coach Hugentobler has also noticed that Peter comes into class every day and says Hi". Peter brightens my day, he says. Most important, Peter is one of those students that makes teaching fun for him. Kiersten Dey is a senior in Coach Hugentoblers 1st period algebra class. Kiersten is always w ith her extremely and is assignments helpful to the kids around her, says Coach. She is eager to learn and wants ' 1 Jessie Bumgardner not always come easy for her, she makes it up through her hard work and desire to improve. He has also noticed that Kiersten is helpful in class, always contributes to class discussions, and is never afraid to ask questions. Jill Cragun and Nanette Sorensen are both students in Coach Jacksons 4th period college history class. These students were chosen because of their excellence in the classroom. Both of these students have had straight As for the year in his class. These girls are awesome. Evto learn to improve and this shows in her actions. Colmusileen is a good cian who has played well for Mrs. Higham all throughout middle and high school. Jessie Bumgardner has been playing the violin ever since fifth grade. She is dependable and always the first one to give help, says Mrs. Higham. In addition, Mrs. Highams 1st period orches- she is nice and kind to everybody tra class. Colleen is always happy and has an outgoing personality. and goes the extra mile to help Because she puts forth the most others. One of the things that Colleen does is go over to the elementary school twice a week to give added help. Another thing that Colleen does is take over for - . sides being amazing students.
