Show f F Funeral Held For A. A D. D Livingston I Funeral services were held Sunday for Archibald D. D Livingston 74 who died suddenly at his home in Manti early Thursday morning of a heart attack He had been a worker in the Manti ManU L D S temple much of the time for the past 9 years and was well known to temple visitors He was a high priest in the Manti South ward and a member of the South Sanpete Stake high council An active worker m in the L D S church Mr Livingston filled a mission to the Southern States in 1911 Mr Livingston was born in Salt Lake City March 29 1873 a son of William Villiam and Lillias Limas Dick Livingston The family later moved to Fountain Green where Mr Livingston assisted his father in the operation of a lumber lumber lumber lum lum- ber mill He was a construction worker work work- er on the Sanpete Valley railroad and worked for a time in the mines of Eureka Park City and Sterling He later engaged in sheep raising and farming maintaining herds in various parts of the state He operated a dry farm at Fountain Green and irrigated farms at Delta Gunnison valley vaHey and Manti He married Lillie May Munk in the Manti Mant temple June 11 1902 and survivors survivors survivors sur sur- include his widow and a daughter Lilias May Livingston both bothof of Manti and three sons Dr A. A M. M Livingston of Salt Lake City Elwood and A. A Vernon Vemon Dick Livingston of Craig Colorado nine grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters i Mrs Lily May Robertson Fountain I Green J. J F F. Livingston and Mrs L. L W. W Cook Salt Lake City Mrs Isabell Isabell Isabell Isa- Isa bell Merriam Manti and Abe Livingston Livingston Living Living- Living Living- I ston Craig Colo The Funeral The funeral service in the South Southward Southward Southward ward Sunday afternoon was well at attended attended attended at- at tended with a large number in the audience being from out of town Floral tributes were profuse and beau beau- Bishop Glen Anderson conducted the service and Mrs Eunice Garbe Garbo play played d prelude and pos t postlude ud music u ic The South ward quartet sang Come Unto Me after which the invocation was offered by David V. V Cook of Logan A solo Face to Face was sung by Ernest Scow and Bishop Anderson read a letter of condolence wl which ch had been sent by Robert D. D Young former former former for for- mer president of f the Manti ManU temple President Young told of the faithfulness faithful faithful- ness of Mr Livingston as a temple worker and praised his character Bishop Anderson related a few incidents in incidents incidents in- in in Mr Livingston's life such as on but a moments moment's notice taking a group of Boy Scouts to Salt Lake City buying the Ule little red chairs for forthe forthe forthe the wards ward's kindergarten classes etc A duet Grant Us Peace 0 O Lord was sung by Mr and Mrs Leon Is- Is green Mr Isgreen a cousin to Mr Livingston and wife just recently returned from filling a mission to Scotland Mr Isgreen was called on onto onto onto to speak briefly and told of Mr Livingston's Livingston's Livingston's Liv Liv- ingston's search for genealogy and how his efforts in this line had made it possible for them to make many contacts in the mission field Mont Roberts of Grand Junction Colorado a nephew of Mr Livingston spoke of the many good deeds Mr and Mrs Livingston had performed also told of their family and of Mr Livingston's honest and upright char char- acter Mildred Jenson sang The Holy City after which Pres L. L R R. Anderson Ander Ander- son was the concluding speaker He told how well he had known Mr Livingston of his faithfulness ulness and of what the gospel had always meant to him The quartet sang Oh My Father FaUler and Bishop Alma C.
