For 'H many years ho owned and opornted a M blacksmith shop on South Main street nud all tho farmers from the south H end of Cncho county know him as Vfl one of tho best blacksmiths In tho H state. He was known by all'who did bVJ business with him to bo honest "nr.l " JH trustworthy in every respect. EH Mr. JacobBon was born in Copen- IH hagen, Denmark, Juno 23, 1831 yfj hence was well advancod into h!a afj eighty-seventh year. When ho came H to Logan with Is family In 1871, bs jsfJ brought with him tho knowlodgo of jwJ his trado and established himself In BvJ business on South Main street) where wfl ho pospcred and taught several of his H sons tho trado, until old ago brought H about his retirement. BH During his rcsldonco he was over H nctlvcly engaged In soma branch of H the ministry, Ho filled one mission M to his native country and In his H work at homo was for many years a H BBI membor ot tho bishopric of tho Sixth ward.
