Show FUNERAL AT CEMETERY' FOR MR, STODDARD Sorrlcea over tho romnlna of Harry Har-ry Stoddard were held In the city cemetery yesterday. Elders II. J. Maughan and Arent, Johnson were tho speakers, Mr. F. H. Daugh sang a solo, nnd duets wero sung by Mr. Raugh and Mrs. Mamie Stark. Tho gravo was dedicated by Elder N. A. Larsen. Mr. Stoddard's remains wero j brought here from Salt Lake. The cases of Mr. Stoddard and of his wife, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorcntz Johnson, who died at their homo hero but a couplo of days preceding pre-ceding his death In Salt Lako, was particularly pathetic. They wero both young and had been married but a short time. It Is supposed they contracted tho Spanish Influenza while coming from California, and didn't rcnllzo It when they parted; she to come homo on a visit nnd he remaining to piepaio a homo In Salt Lake. Neither learned of the serious Illness of the other up till tho tlmo when death overtook thorn. Her rel-t rel-t ntlvcs went to Salt Lako and brought his remains here for Interment. |
