Show I Jennie Thorpe I Is Buried I VVELLSVILLE, November 5- Funeral services were held Sunday B over the remains of Jennie, the thlr- teen-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thorpe, who passed suddenly I away after a brief Illness of heart I irouole. The tabernacle was filled ,t with sympathizing friends. Approp-Mfe Approp-Mfe rlate music was rendered by the ward choir. The speakers were her Brand-fathers, Brand-fathers, Richard Hrenchlev and John Thorpe, of Logan and V. H. Maughan and Bishop E. R. Owen, who uttered words of praise, consolation and sympathy sym-pathy for trie bereaved parents and relatives. A selection was read by Isabell Obray of Paradise. The pallbearers pall-bearers were young men friends of the departed. The lloral offerings were carried by otllcers of the primary association as-sociation and were profuse and beautiful, beauti-ful, and emblematic of the purity of the life of the departed. Marie, the eleven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Maughan who has been a sufferer from heart trouble for the past ten months, at this time seems slightly improved. The election passed off quietly in our city, although much anxiety was expressed by members of each party, but the republicans carried everything. every-thing. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Aylett are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a baby girl on the 2nd. Congressman and Mrs Howell are In the city visiting with relathcs and friends. The farmers are all busy with their beet crop and finishing up their fall work. |
